Australian Stock Horses are one of the world's best and most versatile breeds of horse. They are agile, athletic and have wonderful minds. Stock Horses are bred to be tough and to go all day. Here in the Clarence Valley we are lucky to have many traditional cattle stations which are ideally mustered by horse due to the terrain which includes flood plain and steep country.  The valley has a large population of working ASH registered stockhorses as well as ASH horses which are used for breeding, showing, pony club, sporting and FEI sports.

Australian Stock Horses excel at the uniquely Australian sports of Campdrafting and Polocrosse.  It is very pleasing to see both of these  sports enjoying a resurgence, with Campdrafting being one of the most popular horse sports in Australia today, and polocrosse becoming increasingly popular internationally.
