Eventing is Australia's prestige FEI sport. Australia won team gold at With a huge depth of talented riders and horses there is always fierce competition for selection to the Olympic and WEG 3DE teams.  Australia won team gold at the last three Olympics.  Given the high level of participation in Pony Club and the early introduction to riding in rural Australia,  kids grow up as naturals in the exacting sport of eventing.  Combined with a huge population of readily available and relatively inexpensive thoroughbreds, eventing is a sport that any talented rider can participate in, from Pony Club through to elite level.
