prices and freight

To check the total price of your order on our web shopping site (including shipping) just put the item(s) in the shopping cart, tell it where you live and the software will calculate it for you – this does NOT create an obligation to buy.

All products in our web shopping site are shown in four currencies:

Australian Dollars   -   includes 10% goods and services tax (GST)*
  US Dollars
Euros
UK Pounds
  -   exclude GST

 * GST is applicable to Australian residents only and it is removed during checkout for export sales.

If you live in a country not listed above, the easiest way to calculate the price in your currency is to convert the US Dollar price.  Alternatively, divide the Australian Dollar price by 1.1 (to remove GST) and put the amount into the Currency Converter this will give you the price in your currency using today's IMF exchange rates.

Freight charges depend on the freight method you choose and the weight of the items.  The easiest way to check this out is to select the items you're interested in, go to the checkout and see what shipping price is calculated. An actual order is not created until the final phase of the process.

Delivery Time depends on several factors, including your location, the shipping method  you choose and our current stock holdings.

We carry large stocks of goods listed on our site, however  with many thousands of items, many with several size / colour combinations – there are times when we need to source your order from one or more of our vendors.  In most cases when this occurs, we can obtain the goods within a week but this obviously depends on our vendors' stock holdings and any delivery backlog they may be experiencing at the time.

Domestic Delivery Methods (within Australia) are Parcel Post and Express Post.  Delivery by Express Post usually takes one or two days but may be up to five working days for remote locations.  Delivery by Parcel Post usually takes about a day longer.  Note that Express Post charges for heavy items can be a lot higher than Parcel Post.

International Delivery Methods include Airmail, Express Post International (EPI) and Express Courier International (ECI).  ECI generally takes about three daysEPI usually takes a week to ten days while Airmail usually takes about two or three weeks to most countries.

Tracking of Airmail parcels is very limited however parcels with a value of $A100 or more do have a tracking number which allows the Post Office to initiate a trace.  EPI has better tracking facilities with scans at acceptance and delivery points and online status checks.  ECI offers full track and trace facilities with scans at each step of the delivery process and full online status services.

Note: postal services within some countries are simply slower than others; some postal services do not seem to try very hard to find addressees; and if the destination country's Customs decide to inspect the goods, this can delay delivery by days or weeks.

A Special Note for UK Residents: we have found that, provided the delivery address is totally straightforward, Parcelforce can usually deliver quite quickly.  However if there is anything the slightest bit unusual about the address, they just seem to give up, put the parcel in a back room of the local post office for a month and then return it to us.

The delivery times listed above are estimates based on our experience.  Obviously, we are not the carrier and do not control the delivery process after we have lodged the goods for shipment.
