foot size
If you haven't worn R.M.Williams footwear before and
don't know your size, these are the directions R.M.Williams advise you
follow.
outline your foot: With your socks on and
while in a seated position with your knee slightly forward, draw an outline
of your foot onto a sheet of paper. HOLD THE PENCIL STRAIGHT UP AND
DOWN AT ALL TIMES.
measure your
foot: There are five foot measurements you need to take:
joint, lower instep, instep,
heel and ankle – see the diagrams. Use a tape
measure, drawn medium snugly, and measure completely around the foot.
Be careful to measure according to the lines in the diagrams.
joint
– measure right around your foot, over the big toe joint and behind the
little toe

lower instep – measure right around your foot, halfway
between joint and instep

instep – with your knee slightly forward, measure
around the foot, over the highest part of the instep, with the tape measure
vertical

heel – with your knee slightly forward, measure
right around the heel at the point directly above the instep. Do not
raise your heel when taking this measurement

ankle – measure right around your foot, at the point
directly above the instep |
