Montana Silversmiths was founded in 1973, in Columbus Montana, a small ranching community on the Yellowstone River.  From humble beginnings, when the goal was to bring high quality, least cost, plated buckles to the market, Montana has grown into the largest manufacturer of western silver products in the world. The product range includes buckles, watches, jewellry, hat pins and many more items.

Montana Silversmiths are always challenging themselves to come up with unique and affordable products that their western lifestyle customers will appreciate and enjoy.  In 2000 the Montana Lifestyles line was introduced. which included a  fine line of home décor accessories and whimsical collectables such as figurines, photo frames and ceramics. More recenetly Montana Silversmiths has applied the art of fine western design to leather handbags, wallets and other men’s and women’s leather accessories to compliment the western silver and further outfit the authentic western customer.
